We are very pleased to offer our patients one of the first Pain Management Treatments developed which actually corrects the underlying problem.

The treatment is very exciting because it uses the healing factors of the human body to cure common injuries.

Platelet Rich Plasma therapy (PRP) is a ground breaking non-operative treatment option that relieves pain by naturally promoting long lasting healing of musculoskeletal conditions.

These types of conditions have typically been treated with medications, physical therapy, or even surgery.

PRP has recently been featured in the news with the rising popularity of the treatment among professional athletes, recreational athletes, and highly functional individuals.  Famous athletes such as Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant, Rafael Nadal, as well as many others have received PRP for various problems from sprained knees to chronic tendon injuries.  Many have credited PRP injections, particularly for athletic injuries, with enabling them to return back to regular activities and to competition with minimal or even no pain at all.  This rapidly emerging technology is very promising for many conditions such as arthritis, tendonitis, and ligament sprains and tears.

PRP therapy presents patients with a long lasting, holistic and permanent solution through the body’s natural healing process.  PRP is NOT something that wears off over time as with a traditional pain injection.

Hair loss can be very frustrating for both men and women, especially when you’ve tried everything, but nothing works. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy can potentially restore hair growth, with visible results in a matter of months. Once injected into your scalp, PRP works by stimulating the growth of new cells and hair follicles. PRP is a viable option to treat thinning hair and hair loss in both men and women.

The process is quite simple. It involves taking a small amount of your blood and spinning it to separate platelets from other blood cells. We then inject this healing solution into areas of your scalp that are bald or thinning. A local anesthetic may be used to minimize any discomfort from the injections. However, the procedure is relatively painless and quick.
